I was selling an old bed. Girl agreed to come Sunday morning around 10:30. Unlike most Craigslist commerce interactions, she was more than punctual - she was early. To say I wasn’t ready was an understatement - I had left my phone in my room (thinking I still had about 20 minutes) and was having coffee in the back yard, wearing only a sea-foam green fleece bathrobe. My boyfriend went to put out his cigarette in the front and came back with two people trailing behind him.

“Babe,” he said, “They’re here to pick up the bed.”

Long silence.

“Well,” I said, “Let me go put on some pants.”

Raising money for the short film, Stepsister.

My boyfriend’s housemate Joey made this short film and it’s been selected to go to the Cannes Film Festival. It’s a huge honor but also a hugely expensive honor, so he and his team are raising some funds via Indiegogo. There’s also a fundraiser this Saturday in SF (https://www.facebook.com/events/227366860736818/) that I’ll probably be at, because Joey’s an awesome dude and I’m sure Chris is just dying to see his bathroom (used as a location) up on the big screen.
